A Wild Jouney - Expedition Africa 2008-2012

2016 will be the year of expeditions into the unknown!

We have done extensive travelling in Africa, love bush and wildlife and can take you with us to discover the beauties of this amazing continent! We know a lot of corners and backroads that could make a good adventure to travel and explore!

We love easy going people like us, people who don´t mind sleeping in a tent and being in the bush. We will get dirty and dusty, we will cook our own food, try some antelope meat and make our own fires. We talk expedition and we mean it! :)

January/February 2016 - EXPEDITION SUDAN III

In January and February 2016 we would love to go back into Sudan and do another expedition of about 3 weeks. We would like to return to the pyramid fields of Meroe, take a closer look at the temples of Musawwarat and Naga but also like to explore the South of Northern Sudan, there is a wild and untamed national park there - Dinder. We plan on taking a few sandy desert tracks to get to Kassala and explore the sugarloaf mountains there. All in all very exciting!

We will mostly sleep in the desert or if the wind is too strong in little roadhouses. We have a lot of friends in Sudan who can help us with our journey. As we have to hire a 4x4 we need to know well in advance if you would like to join!

May/June - EXPEDITION MOZAMBIQUE, MALAWI AND ZAMBIA

For the summer of 2016 we plan on a big trip and will divide it into 3-week pieces. We would start in Johannesburg and go into Mozambique through Swaziland, we would love to dive there again, either Zavora or Tofo before heading right up North and then into Malawi. We have never been there and have heard a lot about this magical sea-like lake. From Malawi we can then enter Zambia, visit the South Luangwa NP (where we once got stuck next to a hungry pride of lions with a broken starter) and could explore the Eastern area more before going to North Zambia and into the Congo. We would love to see the rainforests there! On the way back we will go through Zambia again, this time the adventurous Sioma Ngwezi NP and then into Botswana to experience wild animals in the bush in Chobe and the Makgadigadi saltpans.

All in all it will be exciting and adventurous as there are a lot of wild places we haven´t been to yet!

Travel buddies are welcome as we love to have company with us and a car can be pushed much better in deeper sand with more people! :)

We also plan an expedition across Africa, leaving Europe in our 4x4 VW van and going till Kenya in 6-7 weeks, we would cross from Turkey into Egypt, but at the moment the routes are a bit unsure, we need to wait and see when situations change. The plan is there but put on hold at the moment. It may change quickly though, if you are interested you can definitely contact us!
